Program Rules

Tire Discounter Group (TDG) is proud to exclusively offer the new TreadXperts Independent Dealer Tire Expert Service Network to qualifying dealers to build upon current successes, market share of the brands carried and trusted and grow your business in the passenger/light truck/TBR/high speed trailer and wheel segments of the replacement tire and wheel markets. By participating in the TreadXperts Program, the Dealer Member will be eligible to participate in the following programs:

  • Signage Program
  • Showroom Enhancement Program by PDP Designs
  • Digital Marketing Portal
  • Digital Interactive Kiosk Advertising Network
  • Regional marketing programs that target your customers!

The enrolled dealer agrees to follow the program guidelines and purchase requirements outlined in this agreement.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE:

The objective of the Program is to promote the Dealer Member as a trusted Independent Retailer and reward, engage and successfully grow the independent retail dealers that partner with Tire Discounter Group for their tire and wheel purchases.

ENGAGEMENT AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Tire Discounter Group Independent retail dealers must be nominated into the Program. Dealers are nominated based on a variety of criteria including but not limited to: account status, years in business, business location, annual sales, service and product offerings, designated showroom/waiting area, and current enrollment in other manufacturer associate dealer programs. Car Dealerships, corporate accounts and other accounts receiving a discount or currently on another TDG annual program are not eligible to become TreadXperts Members.

There is no fee to participate in the TreadXperts Program other than a monthly fee for the CFIB membership of $19.95 which will be deducted at the end of the year from earned Volume Bonus.

Dealer members may withdraw from the Program at any time. Doing so will void any current earnings and will require the removal of all TreadXperts signage and access to the TreadXperts Digital Advertising Network including content and hardware if applicable. Upon withdrawal, your access to the TreadXRewards Dealer Portal will be removed along with access to any of the TreadXperts offerings such as the TreadXGear Storefront for wearables, the TreadXperts - Guardtree Automotive Warranty Program and membership in the Canadian Federation of Independent Business under the Tire Discounter Group account.

Abuse of the Program, or any misrepresentation will affect participation in the Program. Tire Discounter Group may revoke membership status in the Program at any time. Tire Discounter Group reserves the right to seek all remedies in the event Member Dealer defrauds or abuses the Program, or makes any misrepresentation to Tire Discounter Group Inc.

Term:

This Agreement shall take effect the 1st day of the quarter of signing by both parties and will remain in effect unless terminated earlier by written notice by either party. Either party may terminate this agreement, with or without cause, by providing 30-day written notice. This agreement auto-renews each calendar year unless terminated by either party. Member Dealers that fail to maintain the entry level of 400 units annually will be removed from the program after the second consecutive year of failing to achieve objective.

Qualifications:

TreadXperts Dealers must achieve 1 of 6 levels in order to qualify for the annual volume bonus and quarterly rewards. The annual volume bonus is calculated on purchases of all private and major brand passenger/light truck/commercial (TBR)/high speed ST trailer tires and alloy wheels sold by Tire Discounter Group. Steel Wheels and accessory parts are not included in the program.

Benefits and Payout Schedule:

TreadXpert Dealer is eligible to earn a TreadX Program Annual Volume Bonus (AVB) at year end, as defined in the AVB Program section, if the TreadX Dealer achieves the purchase objective.

Qualifying Units:

Annual volume bonus will be paid on all private brands and major brands All-Season/Winter Passenger, Light Truck/ Commercial (TBR)/ High Speed Radial Trailer tire and alloy wheel net purchases, if earned by the TreadX Dealer, via a prepaid MasterCard by February of the following year. AVB paid on Net P/LT/TBR/Power STR Trailer/Alloy Wheels purchases ordered through Tire Discounter Group only.

END OF JAN FOLLOWING YEAR A TRUE-UP TAKES PLACE

If units are returned in the following year of the payout & units were purchased in previous year the dealer unit count will go into a deficit on their dealer portal until more units are purchased.

Growth Incentive Schedule

The Growth Incentive is calculated based on year-over-year achievements. The additional payout rate on each unit of growth is paid out at the level achieved on the growth units only.

TreadXperts Dealers can monitor their progress towards the Annual Bonus, Points Rewards and monthly/quarterly additional rewards incentives online at www.treadxrewards.ca as well as download marketing assets and other information material.

Quarterly TreadX Rewards Incentives:

The TreadXpert Dealer is eligible to earn points provided they are tracking towards the entry level requirement of 400 units. Points may be cashed out at 10% of points by way of a prepaid credit card, 20% of points if credit applied to existing TDG account or accrued towards the Destination Trip. The TreadX Rewards are earned based on the Member’s purchase of private and major brand tires and wheels during each quarterly incentive and calculated as points per unit. Additional Quarterly incentives to double up and triple up on points, giveaways and promotions will be announced prior to the beginning of the month or quarter as applicable on the TreadXperts Dealer Portal at www.treadxrewards.ca

Cash Rewards Redemption Schedules

Dealer may elect to cash out Points Rewards once the Dealer Member achieves the 1st objective of 400 annual units or tracking towards objective. Points may be redeemed toward a prepaid credit card at 10% of points or as a credit to their TDG account at 20% of points. Points may also be accrued to be awarded the Destination Trip. Destination Trip requires 25,000 Points.

Points Rewards Incentive For Biennial Destination Trip

Dealer Member may elect to accrue points towards the Biennial Destination Trip for two. 25,000 points are required to be awarded the trip. Dealer must consistently achieve one of the six levels of engagement. Dealer automatically is awarded the trip once they hit 3000 annual units. Points do not expire.

The Dealer Member must be tracking towards a qualifying TreadXpert level during the quarter when additional promotions are offered to double and triple points. Throughout the year the TreadXpert program will announce a TreadX Power Points promotion to earn double points and quarterly TreadXtras Incentive Points promotions which will allow you to earn triple points!

Dealer Members may opt to buy into trip. Additional cost to Dealer Member will be calculated based on cost of trip for two minus their annual points earnings over the course of the two years.

Track Progress:

Once enrolled, the TreadXpert Dealer may track their progress online on points, rewards and annual volume bonus status. Dealers may visit www.treadxperts.ca and use the Dealer Login button which will take them to the rewards portal or simply bookmark the portal site for future access.

Guidelines:

Dealer must enroll all retail locations under common ownership in the TreadXperts Program. Each location stands alone.

Terms & Conditions:
  1. Orders must be placed and invoiced by December 31st to be eligible for inclusion in the annual unit count.
  2. By participating in the TreadXpert Program you agree to the terms and conditions covered in theprogram outlined above
  3. All terms are O.A.C.
  4. Qualifying annual bonus will be paid via prepaid Mastercard in February of following year.
  5. Account must be in good standing to receive payout.
  6. Dealer Member must achieve all required objectives in order to receive rewards and volume bonus and any otherrewards or incentives offered within this program.
POINTS, REWARDS, ANNUAL VOLUME BONUS & GROWTH INCENTIVE
  • Points Rewards balances will be available for viewing to the Dealer Member online at TreadXRewards.ca
  • Points have no cash value, are non-negotiable, and cannot be redeemed for cash EXCEPT as outlined in the Points Rewards Schedule.
  • TreadXpert Annual Volume Bonus and Growth Incentives are paid out via prepaid card in February of the following year.
  • Taxes on TreadXperts Rewards or other Program benefits may apply where required by law. Any tax liability, including disclosure, is the sole responsibility of the Dealer Member.
ADDITIONAL PROGRAM RULES & INFORMATION
  • Tire Discounter Group is the exclusive sponsor of this Program.
  • Tire Discounter Group reserves the right to cancel, modify or restrict any aspect of the Program at any time with or without notice.
  • Tire Discounter Group reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to terminate a Member's enrollment in the Program. All accrued Points and Rewards will be lost if the membership expires or is cancelled.
  • Tire Discounter Group, in its sole discretion and without prior notice to Member, may change the following at any time:
    • The minimum unit value needed to earn Points.
    • The value of the TreadX Reward earned by the Dealer Member.
    • The number of Points needed to earn a TreadX Rewards.
    • Points and Rewards, in the TreadXRewards Dealer Portal, shall be deemed correct and Tire Discounter Group reserves the right to determine the qualification for any transaction and to correct or modify the Reward amount at any time based on Tire Discounter Group records and calculation of account information.
    • By becoming a member of the TreadXpert Program, Dealer Member agrees to receive advertising, marketing materials and other communications from Tire Discounter Group.
    • Tire Discounter Group is not responsible for communications, including points, promotions, rewards, lost due to a change of address or other contact information.
    • Program Terms and Conditions are void only to the extent prohibited by law.
    • The Program has no predetermined termination date and may continue until such time as Tire Discounter Group, at its sole discretion, elects to designate a program termination date.
